Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) offers a comprehensive path to physical and mental well-being, providing a full-body workout that enhances strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health, while simultaneously teaching effective self-defense techniques applicable in real-world scenarios. General Class Information

Adult Fundamentals

Our Adult Fundamental’s classes are designed for both new students and those who want to continue developing their skills. In these classes, students will learn effective grappling techniques with a focus on self-defense. Training focuses on learning fundamental moves such as escapes, sweeps, submissions, and positional control. You’ll practice techniques in a safe, environment under the guidance of experienced instructors. 

Women’s Only

Our Women’s-only self-defense classes are designed specifically for female practitioners. These classes offer a safe, supportive, and empowering space where women can focus on developing their skills, confidence, and fitness without the challenges some might face in co-ed environments. Techniques incorporate practical scenarios in an atmosphere that makes it easier for beginners to learn. Beyond the physical techniques, these classes foster camaraderie and community and encourage building strong bonds with other women who share similar goals and challenges. 

Law Enforcement

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu plays a vital role in enhancing the skills and effectiveness of law enforcement officers, offering key benefits for both their personal safety and professional duties. Some of the benefits include how to effectively control and restrain individuals thereby reducing risk of harm to the officer and suspect. Moreover, officers who train jiujitsu are better prepared to de-escalate situations with an increased confidence in their own ability to defend themselves. The physical fitness and mental resilience that comes from jiujitsu training makes this an essential tool for modern policing strategies.

Adult Advanced

Our Advanced Jiu-Jitsu classes are designed for experienced practitioners who are looking to further develop their techniques and deepen their understanding of the art. These classes focus on building the fundamentals and learning advanced submissions, positional transitions, and strategic gameplay, allowing students to take their skills to the next level.

Kids Fundamentals

Our kid’s Jiu-Jitsu are designed to introduce children to the fundamentals of Gracie  Jiu-Jitsu in a fun and engaging way. The classes focus on building basic techniques, improving coordination, and teaching discipline and respect. In addition to the physical techniques, there is also a focus on respect for others, standing up to bullies, and the importance of training consistently. Students are taught how to defend themselves in various scenarios without escalating the situation. 

Kids Advanced

Our advanced kids’ Jiu-Jitsu classes are designed for children who can demonstrate the basic techniques and concepts of Jiu-Jitsu and are ready to take their skills to the next level. These classes focus on refining techniques, developing a deeper understanding of strategy, and incorporating more complex submissions and transitions. Classes begin challenging warm-up, which includes dynamic movements, drills to enhance flexibility, agility, and cardio, as well as techniques that build strength and endurance. Kids’ will have opportunities to do both

Mini Jiu-Jitsu

These 30-minute classes introduce young children, 3-5 years old, to basic jiujitsu movements and positions while incorporating skills to develop balance, coordination, flexibility, and listening. Parents join their child on the mat which increases the understanding of the moves and gives the child a perfect partner to train with!
